Frequently Asked Questions

How can I register to attend?

All registrations will be on line via this site. Please click on the registration information page for details.

There are several people attending from my organisation. Can we make one group registration?

No, unfortunately the on line system does not have the capacity to register groups. Each delegate will need to complete an individual registration.

If I am presenting a paper in one of the sessions do I need to register?

Yes. As a speaker / presenter you are still required to register and pay for your attendance at the conference. If you are only visiting the conference to present in a session and then leaving without participating in other sessions or catering breaks, you do not need to register but please ensure that you notify the conference organiser.

How much will it cost?

Various options are available so that you can attend individual days or purchase a ‘conference package’ pass, which includes all days and the dinner at a discounted rate. There are different rates for CLCNSW members, Community Organisations and Government / Private Sector. There are also concessions for students, unemployed and senior citizens. Please click on the registration information page for details.

How do I pay my registration fees?

Payment can either be made via EFT or cheque.  A tax invoice with details on how to pay will be sent to your email address when you complete the online registration process.

Can I pay my registration fees by credit card?

No, unfortunately the State Office does not have facilities to accept credit card payments.

There are several people attending from my organisation. Can we make one payment to cover everyone?

Yes, but it is important that you quote all of the order numbers (found on the individual invoices) with the payment, so that the paid fees can be matched to the delegate registrations.

Are subsidies available?

We are committed to ensuring that the conference is accessible to as many CLC workers as possible, particularly Aboriginal workers and those in regional, rural and remote areas. This means that we keep registration fees to a minimum and don’t charge delegates attending Day one (RRR day).

Where possible, we subsidise the travel and accommodation costs for Aboriginal delegates and those coming from regional, rural and remote areas.  There is an application process for these subsidies. Application forms and guidelines can be downloaded from the Conference Information page on this website.

Can I bring a friend / partner to the conference dinner?

Yes. If you wish to bring a guest to the dinner and they are not attending the day time conference you will need to submit a registration for them, and select the payment option for the dinner only.

Does the registration fee include accommodation and transfers?

No. The fees are for attendance to the conference days including lunch & catered tea breaks. You will need to arrange your own travel and accommodation. A delegate information sheet can be downloaded from the Conference Information Page of this website. This sheet includes accommodation options close to the conference venue, as well as the details of transport options to get there, and a map of the area.

I am a student / unemployed / senior citizen. Are there concession rates?

Yes. There are a limited number of places allocated for eligible concession rates. Proof of your status (e.g valid student card) will be required.
