Women’s Legal Services Australia has launched the “Safety in Family Law” website (www.safetyinfamilylaw.com) with information about the new bill before Parliament:

The Family Law Legislation Amendment (Family Violence and Other Measures) Bill 2011.

The website provide information about the need for change to the current Family Law Act, template submissions, and supporting evidence.

The Bill was introduced into Parliament on 24 March 2011. It has been referred to a Senate Committee and submissions are due 29 April 2011.
