The video below is an edited version of the DVD "Achieving Social Justice: Working in NSW Community Legal Centres". The full DVD is 20 minutes long. It was released at the 2010 CLCNSW State Conference to mark 35 years of the CLC movement in NSW. The DVD portrays 6 prominent legal, community and social justice advocates, all of whom spent time working in NSW Community Legal Centres. It is an invaluable resource for new CLC staff in particular, as well as anyone looking to get inspiration for a career in advocating for social justice.

Legal Needs Project
In October 2009, CLCNSW completed Phase 1 of the Legal Needs research and planning project. This Phase developed and trialled a model of evidence-based legal needs research and strategic planning for community legal centres. The outcomes of the project were the development of the Legal Needs Assessment Framework (LNAF), comprehensive reports (with mappings) and a data analysis and strategic planning toolkit.

In June 2010, CLCNSW completed Phase 2 of the Legal Needs research and planning project. The aim of this Phase was to undertake a supported roll out of the Legal Needs Strategic Planning Toolkit with four NSW CLCs. It was an oppurtunity to trial the Toolkit developed in Phase 1 with the four CLCs, whilst also providing support and assistance to those CLC's throughout the process.
