Tell us a little about yourself.

I am 23 years old and spend most of my spare time completing my Bachelor of Laws. I am incredibly proud of my work at Miromaa, an international and national Indigenous language centre, which has taught me so much about identity and culture and has been incredibly special to my journey in the law.

I am deeply passionate about becoming a lawyer and advocating for our people, country, ancestors, and our collective future! I am happiest when I’m surrounded by family, staying active, and working toward my degree. I’m beyond excited for what the future holds once I finish university and feel so proud of the path I’m on.

Do you have an interest in a particular kind of law or types of legal problems?

I am excited to gain hands-on experience with legal matters and to work in the legal profession more broadly. I am deeply passionate about social justice, human rights, and criminal law, with a particular interest in Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property and the collective rights of Indigenous Peoples.
