Get involved as a co-convenor of one of the 19 vibrant community legal centre networks in NSW!
Stay on the cutting edge of what is happening in the sector; lead discussion on issues you are an expert in or that are important to you; and get deeply engaged with your colleagues in the sector.
What does it involve?
Convening a network entails the following responsibilities:
- Facilitating or taking minutes during quarterly network meetings, which run for 90 minutes (co-convenors usually split these two tasks between them, so one facilitates and one takes minutes)
- Coordinating content for meetings - This might include creating presentations to do yourselves, organising expert speakers from the sector or adjacent sectors, or coordinating skill-sharing sessions within the network
- Communicating with network members where required (this is usually minimal).
This shouldn't take more than about two hours of time per quarter, in addition to the 90-minute quarterly network meetings.
You can find more details in our Convenor Guide document.
How do I sign up to convene?
If you're interested in co-convening a network, please email clcnswevents@clcnsw.org.au, and let us know which network you'd like to convene.
