Tell us a little about yourself.

Since a young age, I have had a passion to change the world for the better on an international scale. Through my educational and employment experience, I have developed a specific passion for assisting disadvantaged First Nations' children.

Coming from a minority background, I have both experienced and witnessed countless instances of racial discrimination and the denial of various opportunities. This lack of equality has encouraged me to step up and make a change for the better, and I am hopeful that this passion will see me work for the United Nations one day.

With the assistance of my degree, I intend to give voices to the voiceless and assist those who are vulnerable, with a specific focus on First Nations’ children. I also have career aspirations of empowering global indigenous cultures through making legal knowledge more accessible. I am invested in making a career in human rights law and humanitarian aid, focusing on justice, inclusivity, and equal opportunity.

Do you have an interest in a particular kind of law or types of legal problems?

First Nations justice, criminal law, anti-discrimination law, health justice, policing and prison reform and refugee law.
