Sector Sessions: Stress, Burnout and Self Care

Working in the community legal sector is deeply meaningful, but it can also involve sustained exposure to stress and pressure. This interactive workshop is designed to support workers by building understanding of how stress affects both mind and body, how burnout can develop, and what practical, realistic strategies can help mitigate its impacts.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Recognise the impact of stress on their wellbeing

  • Describe the consequences of burnout

  • Understand the role of self-awareness in managing stress

  • Identify practical strategies to reduce and respond to burnout

Date and Time: Tuesday, 3 March 2026, 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Location: Online

Registration: Register for Sector Sessions: Stress, Burnout and Self Care.

Please note: We also share all training via our fortnightly newsletter Off the Record, which community legal centre workers can sign up for here!
